The Food Standards Agency reports that a Russian company has applied to market taxifolin as a novel food ingredient in the UK. Extracted from a type of larch wood, taxifolin can be used as a dietary supplement in a number of products, such as dairy products, meat and confectionary.  Copyright Adfero Direct News
